About San Antonio

San Antonio is considered to be "the heart of Texas" and is famous for its well-preserved, multicultural history. The Annual Session will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, located directly on San Antonio's renowned River Walk.
The downtown area features excellent restaurants with menus that include a range of Southwestern, Mexican, and “Tex-Mex” food that must be experienced to be understood. San Antonio is a shopper’s paradise. Browse for hours in the small craft shops and boutiques of La Villita, a historic village from the late 1700s, or shop in the nearby Rivercenter Mall. Austin, the capital of Texas, is just 129 km (80 mi) from San Antonio. October is an excellent time to visit San Antonio. The average daytime temperature in October is approximately 21°C (71°F), with an average of 7.1 cm (2.8 in) of rainfall.

Official Letter of Invitation

An official letter of invitation to attend the 149th ADA Annual Session will be sent upon written request. This invitation is intended to facilitate the participant's travel and visa arrangements but does not extend financial support. To request a letter of invitation, please fill out the form.
Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your letter of invitation by e-mail.
Certificate of Attendance

Each International Dentist who registers for the meeting will receive a Certificate of Attendance in his/her registration packet. Please present your registration acknowledgement letter to allow for expeditious completion of your registration.
