Distinguished Speakers Series

Don't miss these two remarkable events! Join your colleagues at San Antonio's Alamodome and be a part of what promises to be the largest gathering of dental professionals under one roof in history.

Tom Brokaw
Friday, Oct 17
8:15am

Award-winning broadcast journalist and author Tom Brokaw will kick off the 2008 Distinguished Speaker Series.
Mr. Brokaw has taken the helm for of NBC's "Meet the Press", network television's longest running program, through the November 2008 presidential elections.

Bob and Lee Woodruff
Saturday, Oct.18
8:30am

Don't miss the authors of the book, In An Instant and their beautiful story of survival, and of marriage for better and for worse. In January 2006, within weeks of being named co-anchor of ABC's "World News Tonight", Bob Woodruff was nearly killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq. And since that day, his remarkable recovery has inspired people all over the world. Just as inspiring is the story of how the event tested him and his wife of 20 years, Lee, as a family and as a couple and how their triumph over adversity taught them significant lessons about persevering and about the indomitable human spirit.
