The 2018 edition will be held at the UNECA (United Nations Economic Commission for Africa) Congress Centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 13 to 15 December 2018.

The event will be supported by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia, and the main partner will be EDPA (Ethiopian Dental Professional Association), a local association strongly based on research.

The new partnership promise an increasingly orientation to training, for a massive spread of culture for professionals on African area, looking for targeted leads and quality, offering a concrete support to companies interested in a rapidly expanding market.

Ethiopia is the second-most populous country in SubSaharan Africa with one of the fastestgrowing economies in the world.

It is also the world's oldest civilizations, also one of the world's poorest countries. The country's per capita income of $550 is substantially lower than the regional average.
The government aspires to reach middle income status over the next decade.

Over the past 20 years, there has been significant progress in key human development indicators: primary school enrollments have quadrupled, child mortality has been cut in half, and the number of people with access to clean water has more than doubled, together with more recent moves to strengthen the fight against malaria and HIV/AIDS, significantly improving well-being.
The economy is largely based on agriculture, which accounts for 46.6% of the GDP and 85% of total employment
