Polti's commitment to designing technological solutions for sanitising both domestic and professional interiors in an environment-friendly and healthy manner dates back to over twenty years ago when it was the first to create steam cleaning appliances.

The two values of well-being and health are strongly rooted in the company's mission, so much so that Polti has been investing for years with the aim of reaching beyond the result already achieved in terms of hygiene. Two years ago, together with Pavia University, Polti started a project aimed at identifying the greater risks for human health due to biological pollution in closed rooms.

The first task of the work group was to assess the risks of bacterial contamination in a dentist's surgery, where the danger of cross-infections is very high. The currently used methods, their advantages and their limits were analysed.

It is thanks to this commitment and to two years of work that it was possible to create the INNOVATIVE "Sani System Polti" INDOOR SANITISER: patented for the whole world.
