Extra coronal OT CAP castable attachments are used in combined prostheses, frames, connecting bars on natural teeth, roots and implants.

In prosthetic plans that require a rigid structure with milling and adequate counter attachments, they function as a stabilizing retentive coupling.
In resilient prostheses without milling, they function with a cushon effect, like a shock absorber, do to the flattened head of the sphere and to the retentive elastic caps.

In addition it is possible to control the seal by applying the most appropriate colored cap for the seal desired.
At one’s discretion it is possible to apply, in addition to the all nylon cap, a TITAN CAP.

The OT CAP TECNO are considered precision attachments.
The titanium sphere and ring incorporated in the nylon cap are mechanically constructed with a calculated tolerance that assures a high precision.
In addition during the production phase it is not exposed to any of the risks associated with sanding, polishing and the various passages in the oven for the ceramic process, since the sphere-attachment is attached to the abutment in parallel only when the work is finished.
